HAPPY NATIONAL ADOPTION MONTH!

Adoption has blessed my life, and my family, in so many wonderful ways. Greg and I had no idea when we got married (almost 10 years ago) that we would struggle to have children. Adoption gave us the gift of parenthood, which is something we will always be grateful for. It has been such a positive experience that I talk about it to people all the time.
November is National Adoption Month! Tonight we had our FSA (Families Supporting Adoption) celebration of National Adoption Month. It may seem cold outside, but you wouldn't have known it by the Luau we had inside! We had a yummy dinner of pulled pork, cabbage salad, chicken-on-a-stick, rolls and pineapple cake! After dinner we had some wonderful Polynesian entertainers. They had a sing-a-long with the all the children and then danced for us. I have never seen Bailey sit so still as during the singing time, she was enthralled with the music!
We had such a great time! Looking around the room you can see that there were so many wonderful families there that have been blessed by adoption.
Happy National Adoption Month!
